This is Part Two of my coaching session with Amy. If you haven’t yet heard Part One (Episode 36), I encourage you to listen to that episode first as it sets the stage for this session.

In Part One you heard Amy having a hard time detaching from her phone. In this session, you’ll hear how hard it is for her to delegate and let go to an office manager or admin assistant and other staff members.

We cover topics in these two sessions that a lot of pet business owners struggle with, and I feel grateful Amy was able to show up so courageously to not only get help for herself, but also help those of you who struggle with these issues in your business and personal life.

How is Amy doing now? Here’s an update:

Hi Kristin,

“Since my first session working with you, one of the biggest changes (and challenges) is spending less time on my phone, both personal and professional.

It’s easy to go down the social media rabbit hole but after talking with you, I’ve made a conscious effort to not check in as often. My phone was a much-needed distraction while grieving two dogs we lost so close together earlier this year. I gave myself some grace, but since bringing home a puppy a month ago, I’ve realized that I don’t want to miss this cherished time with him.

I’ve also made some adjustments to my morning routine. In the past I’d always check my phone first thing in the morning, whether it was social media on my personal phone or checking for client and staff messages on my work phone. In the coaching session you made me realize that it all can wait, and nothing is that important first thing in the morning. Having some time to myself takes me getting up a little earlier in the morning, but that has been worth it!”
