I get it… I remember the messy middle of my first business.
One of the beliefs I held onto for quite a while was “I have to work really hard to make money.” That belief reflected in the way I ran my business and the exhaustion I felt most of the time.
That negative belief originated the way most negative or positive beliefs originate – it came from observing my earliest role models (my parents) and their relationship to work and money. But I came to realize I had to shift this belief before I could grow my business without the grind.
I discovered a powerful process that helped me shift limiting beliefs and experience greater ease in running my business and earning money. I shared this process with the coaching clients who were willing and eager to learn how to shift their beliefs and they too began experiencing positive changes in how they ran their business and generated their cash flow.
In order to work in my business less and on my business more, I also knew I needed to start hiring and delegating, but I was terrified!
Despite my fear, I hired my first person three years into running my business and by 2013, the year I sold my pet business, I counted all the staff members I’d hired and it was well over 250 people! I am here to tell you: the fear around hiring will disappear with practice and with a few great hires.
