Dear Kristin,
I just finished my 5th day of Open Studios at the amazing ICB Art building at 480 Gate 5 Road in Sausalito, California! My new art studio is at #207.
Such a wonderful experience! I sold a large art piece which is now on it’s way to Bristol, England to reside with a lovely couple who own another piece of mine. Another piece ended up in Mill Valley and another made its way to Mount Rose.
I felt hesitant when I first talked to you about what the next step was in my art career. You helped me think more clearly and more expansively in figuring out what I wanted. I literally was offered a glorious space in the building you had suggested! I am now with lots of talented, kind and professional artists, or as I like to call them,”My Tribe”.
The new studio is pure bliss!. I have to tear myself away from the paint, sometimes at 9pm!
I recently dealt with a huge mudslide at my home and lost my sweet Airbnb cottage that I was renting out. I literally have a huge hillside of mud instead of an Air BnB.
My art studio is my sanctuary that keeps me grounded and calm. This week I find out if I can keep my space there. I am praying I can renew the lease and even take on a bigger space there. It is a very desirable space, so fingers crossed.
I am remembering the expansive way I felt after the session with you and am working on letting go of the fear I have of losing this art space.
The other thing I did was I bought two huge canvases since I have always wanted to paint really large – these are 7’x9’.
Thanks again, Kristin, for all your wisdom, clarity and inspiration!
Much love,
Delisa
